Pass the Panama Canal Zone Veterans Act
The website at https://www.panamaveterans.org/ was intended to accomplish two things: to raise awareness of H.R. 2447, a bill to place Panama Canal Zone veterans exposed to toxic herbicides and pesticides on equal footing with our brothers and sisters covered by the PACT Act of 2022, and to serve as a hub for Congresspeople and their staffs to learn about these veterans and their struggles. The site includes research information and testimonials.
My Role
In addition to building the application, I also visited Washington D.C. in early 2023 to meet with Congresspeople and their staffers to discuss support for the bill.
